Crazy Weird!
I had the absolutely weirdest crazy day yesterday. I still don't know how to process it exactly. I want to blog, but I really don't want to share it all. I can just say THANK GOD for good friends to give us good advise and carry us through the tough times! And I really do have the BEST friends EVER!!!!! (That includes you Shane!)
Spring Update
I know, it has been a VERY long time since I last posted. I have been VERY busy! I have a busy daycare right now and it will be getting progressively busier. I am booked for new babies for the next TWO YEARS. Definately cures any baby fever!The kids have been great! Colton and Calvin will be going to Madison Elementary in the fall. They will be in a Chinese Immersion program (Mandarin). We are very excited for them. It was a really tough decision for us, but we think it will be better for them than the homeschooling option. Calvin knows all his alphabet and is beginning to learn his letter sounds. I told him that we need to start reading some simple books together. Colton also knows all his letters. We are still working hard on his speech, and are considering speech therapy for him. They were both very excited to turn 5 AND A HALF in March. Carrera is 19 months old now and is FINALLY walking!! She is a SO sassy and independant! She also LOVES babies! I have been doing great! I still love doing child care and plan to keep it up at least for the next five years. I have still been getting up before five in the morning so I can get coffee at Caribou from 5:30 a.m. until 7:00 a.m. Sometimes I even get my groceries in the early hours. Shane and I have been planning our summer projects, and are ready to send the kids outside every day! Shane is becomming very involved in the DFL (Democratic-Farmer-Laborer) Party. I am a little bit involved as well. Other than that, the kids keep us really busy!!
