School and other items of interest....

Yes, the boys started school last Tuesday. Their first full day of kindergarten without us there was last Wednesday. They even rode the bus by themselves that day to and from school. Now it is all old hat to them. They LOVE school! Although every day Colton runs back to the house to give me a big hug and say that he misses me and wishes that school didn't last so long. I remind him that I will be waiting for him to get home. It has been a really good change for Shane and I. It is much quieter around here during the day and I get more time with Shane. We both get more down time, and our house is SO clean. Not only do I have more time to clean it with them not here, but they also aren't here to mess it up :). Carrera missed them the first two days. By that second day she realised that she gets more time with mommy and daddy and now she almost pushes them out the door. They are beginning to come home with Chinese words to tell us. Colton sang Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes to me in Chinese yesterday. I really didn't expect much because we were told not to expect them to start talking in Chinese until mid-year. I think they meant in sentences :). Calvin has his first girlfriend, Carly. I know NOTHING about her except that she is in the other Chinese immersion kindergarten classroom.

Carrera had her second birthday, and is officially two, although she has been acting two for awhile. Colton and Calvin will turn six tomorrow. They are very excited about their birthday.
