I cannot understand why people think that Jesus is a Republican. I am almost speechless! Just wondering: If I "pray harder" for my candidate, will my candidate win? I would hope that God expects us to vote according to our own convictions. Wow....

Let me clarify: Why would God ascribe to ANY particular party? As humans we are all different and rate issue importance on varying scales. Isn't that part of what makes us who we are? If I rate education and health care above the outlawing of abortion does that make me less of a "believer?" If I believe that Obama would make a better leader for our country that shouldn't say anything about my faith, only about my convictions.
